Foss AS Fiberoptisk Systemsalg is a Norwegian company that has been dealing with fiber optic technologies since 1984. More than 130 employees at plants in Norway and Slovakia annually produce more than 2 million high-quality optical endpoint connectors, which they supply for critical infrastructure worldwide.

In this phase, the optiMES production system operatively manages the processes of the assembly and testing production phases at all workplaces, while the monitoring of production efficiency is built on top of the processes. The MES system is connected to the corporate ERP system.
